to scale the Norway-based startup Equality Check to Stockholm.

We are looking for a growth/marketing person to spearhead the adoption and growth of Equality Check in Sweden. 

EqualityCheck.it is developed by the founders of the Norwegian #Hunspanderer campaign, one of the leading organizations on Gender Equality in Norway. Equality Check is a platform for anonymous crowdsourced reviews about Equality and Diversity in the workplace. Anyone can leave a review about how they rate equal opportunity, work/life balance, culture, inclusiveness etc. 

Our community of Equality Check’ers contribute to making the world more transparent and accountable where our common mission is driving equal opportunity in the workplace for everyone. 

You are an autonomous and driven person with a network in the Stockholm scene. Your responsibility will be to create awareness and traction to Equality Check, build partnerships, engage influencers, onboard companies and build a brand in Stockholm/Sweden.

  • Attract reviews from Swedish employees to Equality Check 

  • Onboard Swedish companies to Equality Check for Business

  • Build partnerships with major corporations for mutual employer branding and marketing in Sweden

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are a self-driven person with experience from marketing/growth and/or PR/communications,who gets energy from building a brand from scratch 

  • You are comfortable with people, meetings and sales

  • You are positive, solutions-oriented and see opportunities

  • You are results-driven and don’t give up before you succeed

  • You show initiative and get things done

As our consultant and Growth Manager in Stockholm you will have weekly touch-downs with the Oslo team via video and meet with us once a month in person. You will report directly to our CEO. We will support you strongly with advice, brainstorming and other questions you might have. 

SKILLS

  • 2+ years of experience and confidence in brand building and growth hacking

  • Preferably experience with marketing in a tech-startup

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in work experience

ABOUT US

We are two founders who have been working passionately to solve gender equality in Norway for the past three years. We were part of the first founder-cohort in Antler, and received an investment from them as one of 13 teams. In August 2019 we hired our first employee and Tech Lead, Iver Skjervum Karlsen. In the past 3 years we have accomplished:

  • 3 national campaigns addressing gender stereotypes and unconscious bias in Norway reaching more than 2 million people.

  • Engaged more than 15 CEOs of Norway’s largest companies to prioritize the issue

  • Published a book on unconscious bias and gender stereotypes with Norway’s most accredited publisher Gyldendal

  • Raised funds from corporations and the government (Innovation Norway) to find solutions on how to improve gender equality in the workplace

  • Been part of the Antler Global accelerator program in Stockholm

  • Been featured in 50+ media articles speaking on the subject of diversity (Including Forbes, CEO Executive and HR Zone)

  • Held several international and national events on unconscious bias and gender stereotypes for thousands of people

  • Spoken at the UN and been invited to the White House

  • Partnered with 11 major companies to map out gender diversity on business.equalitycheck.it 

  • Partnered with Norway’s leading research center on Gender Equality (CORE) to find what could become the world’s first validated solutions on how to improve gender balance in organizations
