EqualityCheck.it is developed by the founders of the Norwegian #Hunspanderer campaign, one of the leading organizations on Gender Equality in Norway. Equality Check is a platform for anonymous crowdsourced reviews about Equality and Diversity in the workplace. Anyone can leave a review about how they rate equal opportunity, work/life balance, culture, inclusiveness etc. Our community of Equality Check’ers contribute to making the world more transparent and accountable where our common mission is driving equal opportunity in the workplace for everyone.

Build an interactive and scalable web app
Support and report to tech lead regarding development
Build the right things in the right way, balancing scalable and maintainable code with speed of delivery and pragmatism
Applying best practice product discovery and agile delivery techniques
Support the product manager in the product vision and roadmap

As a developer, you will be a crucial part of our team, collaborating particularly closely with our Tech Lead in the early startup phase. We firmly believe in autonomy and will do our best to accommodate your work-schedule to your life.
1,5+ years of experience and confidence in building full stack web applications
Experience with cloud service providers, such as AWS and Google cloud
Experience with UX concepts and Product Development
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent length business experience)
We are two founders who have been working passionately to solve gender equality in Norway for the past three years. In August 2019 we hired our first employee and Tech Lead, Iver Skjervum Karlsen. Engaged more than 15 CEOs of Norway’s largest companies to prioritize the issue
Published a book on unconscious bias and gender stereotypes with Norway’s most accredited publisher Gyldendal
Raised funds from corporations and the government (Innovation Norway) to find solutions on how to improve gender equality in the workplace
Been part of the Antler Global accelerator program in Stockholm
Been featured in 50+ media articles speaking on the subject of diversity (Including Forbes, CEO Executive and HR Zone)
Held several international and national events on unconscious bias and gender stereotypes for thousands of people
Spoken at the UN and been invited to the White House
Partnered with Norway’s leading research center on Gender Equality (CORE) to find what could become the world’s first validated solutions on how to improve gender balance in organizations
